About the event
We’re excited to welcome Team GB Kickboxing coach Gio Marchese to Apex Martial Arts for a competition-focused kickboxing seminar. Primarily aimed at students who currently compete — or are considering competing — this session will focus on Light Contact and Kick Light rulesets, both of which closely align with ITF Taekwon-do and provide a natural pathway into kickboxing competition. The session is however open to all students green belt and above.
Gio is a highly experienced coach and athlete, with multiple British, Bristol Open and World titles to his name, as well as a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwon-do. The seminar will run in two sessions: 6:30pm open to all Green Belts and above, followed by a 7:30pm invitation-only session, giving students the opportunity to gain high-level, practical coaching to elevate their competition performance.
